Jim Rams Consilium · About
Clear writing, grounded in your voice.
Jim Rams Consilium is a Ghana-focused commissioned writing and research communication service. It helps professionals and researchers express their ideas clearly while preserving their voice.
Support is for professionals and researchers, including postgraduate students, lecturers and early-career researchers. It includes commissioned professional writing, editing and proofreading, and clearer communication of authors’ own research.
Research support improves authors’ own work; it does not involve writing assessed work for submission.

Meet Prince Oppong Darko
Prince Oppong Darko founded Jim Rams Consilium on a simple belief: worthwhile ideas deserve to be expressed clearly, thoughtfully and in a voice that feels true to the person behind them.
His background spans more than a decade in language teaching, higher-education administration, examination operations and research. Across these roles, he has worked with people who had valuable knowledge and experience but needed support turning their thoughts into a clear document, a persuasive presentation or a well-structured piece of writing. That gap between having something to say and finding the right way to say it is where the studio began.
He holds an MPhil in French from the University of Ghana and is bilingual in English and French. Previously, he served as Head of Academic Administration at Accra Institute of Technology, supporting academic coordination, student research, faculty activities and quality processes. His teaching experience includes English instruction for Francophone students and competency-based training. He currently works as a senior examination officer at the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Ghana.
These experiences have shaped an approach grounded in careful listening, attention to detail and respect for different audiences. His research and writing interests include educational integrity, institutional effectiveness, governance and the relationship between policy and everyday practice.
An approach grounded in the client’s voice
At Jim Rams Consilium, the starting point is the client’s voice. Before shaping a piece, Prince seeks to understand what the client means, whom they want to reach and why the message matters.
Clients may arrive with a few notes, a conversation, an unfinished draft or a manuscript that needs a clearer structure. His role is to help them develop and communicate what is theirs—not replace their perspective with generic language.
Through professional writing and Research Clarity Studio, he supports articles, speeches, biographies, newsletters and academic manuscripts. Research support focuses on clarity, structure and presentation, with authors retaining responsibility for their evidence, interpretations and final submissions.
Jim Rams Consilium is Prince’s independent professional venture.
Its purpose is straightforward: to help people communicate work that matters with clarity, care and confidence.
